Hi, I’m Penny Armytage – Founder  & Chief Coach

“People say I’m practical and focused, and have an ability to get to the heart of any issue.” I’m an applied scientist, a pragmatic kid from the bush and at my core a people person.

There are three things that make me different

I understand how the finance services industry works. I know first hand the challenges that advisers and advice practices experience every day.

Whatever you’ve done, I’ve been there. I left a senior position in funds management and started advising during the GFC, successfully selling my start-up business for a profit 8 years later. I’ve worked with advisers all over Australia, in multiple licensees, as an advice coach and in compliance. And I’ve represented advisers as an industry board member.

You work with me 1:1. My methods are evidence-based, my knowledge and experience is broad. We can work in whatever space works for you.

I am passionate about coaching financial planners to become exceptional advisers. As the founder/director of EagleView Executive Coaching, I’ve built a business specialising in helping advice professionals succeed in the changing and challenging financial advice industry. I provide professional, strength-based coaching for my clients that is backed by science and has tangible outcomes for improving performance.

My credentials in predictive Personality Profiling Systems were developed by world leading psychologist Robert Hogan in the 1990s and are still used by corporations world-wide. I have achieved Level 2 coaching credentials through the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership, provider of International Coaching Federation accredited courses.

Penny has a coach too – my coaching story

In the mid-2000s, I had to make an important decision about a senior corporate role. A colleague referred me to an executive coach. It proved to be a life altering experience.

Over a few months, my coach and I worked though the issues together, identified my strengths and aspirations, then came up with a plan for my future. With a clear focus and context I started to see things differently. I found an opportunity to leave that company, started my own business and never looked back. I will be forever grateful to my executive coach for the support and encouragement he provided when I needed it.
